Rich’s Modern Flooring is looking for a flooring sales associate. Our company sells and installs all types of flooring including: carpet, vinyl, hardwood, laminate, and ceramic tile. This Sales associate will assist customers, builders, and contractors through the entire flooring process.
This is a full-time position which includes some Saturdays.
Pay is depending on experience
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Greet Customers
- Explain product to customers and assist them in selection of floor covering
- Perform onsite measurements – Must take accurate measurements
- Diagram and figure square footage and yardage including pattern matches
- Create estimates and orders in computer
- Job site verification to check the readiness for flooring installation
- Discuss jobs with subcontractors
- Answer phones
- Keep showroom clean and organized
- Follow up with clients after installation for quality control
Other skills and abilities
- Flooring background & sale experience
- Good natured cooperative attitude
- Dependable transportation & insurance
- Valid driver’s license
- Computer Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated and honest
- Ability to listen
- Possess basic mathematical knowledge and abilities
